How do I book a trip with Kaisa Travel?

To book, start by contacting us via our website inquiry form, email, or phone. Tell us your preferred travel dates, destinations (Yunnan, Sichuan, Chongqing, Zhangjiajie), group size, and interests. Our travel designers will propose a draft itinerary and price estimate. Once you confirm, we’ll finalize the itinerary and send a booking confirmation. A deposit secures your booking; final payment is due before departure.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept major international payment methods including bank transfers (SWIFT), credit cards (Visa, MasterCard), and some regional online payment options. Payment details are provided on your invoice. Credit card payments may incur a small processing fee depending on the card and country.

Is a deposit required to confirm my booking?

Yes, a deposit is required to confirm most bookings. The standard deposit is typically 20–30% of the total tour cost, though the exact amount may vary by itinerary, season, and supplier policies. Final payment is usually due 30–45 days before departure.

Can I pay in my own currency?

We can accept payments in several major currencies including USD, EUR, GBP, TWD, KRW, and CNY, depending on your location and payment method. Your invoice will indicate the available currency options.

Do you offer group or corporate pricing?

How secure is my payment and personal information?

We take payment security seriously. Transactions are processed through secure, PCI-compliant channels. Personal information is used only to manage your booking and provide travel services.

2. Itineraries & Customization

Can I customize my itinerary?

Absolutely. Customization is our core strength. Tell us your travel dates, interests, pace, and must-see sites. We’ll design a bespoke itinerary that balances iconic highlights with off-the-beaten-path experiences. We revise the plan until it fits your expectations.

How long does it take to design my itinerary?

Design time depends on complexity. Simple requests get a draft itinerary within 48–72 hours. More complex trips may take 5–10 business days to finalize. We’ll communicate timelines clearly.

Can I combine multiple destinations in one trip?

Yes, combining regions is a popular option. We design seamless multi-destination itineraries connecting Yunnan, Sichuan, Chongqing, and Zhangjiajie with efficient domestic transport between regions.

Can I make changes to my itinerary after it’s confirmed?

Yes, we accommodate reasonable changes before departure. Minor adjustments such as accommodation or activity swaps are usually free. Major changes may affect pricing. Contact your travel designer to discuss modifications.

Are your tours private or group tours?

6. Visas & Trip Preparation

What documents should I bring on my trip?

Bring your passport (valid for at least six months beyond return), visa (if required), printed and digital copies of your itinerary and booking confirmations, travel insurance details, and emergency contacts. We’ll send a pre-departure checklist.

We do not sell insurance directly but strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellation, medical emergencies, evacuation, and baggage loss. We can suggest reputable international insurers.

Are there any health or vaccination requirements?

Common suggestions include routine vaccinations and, depending on your destinations, vaccines for hepatitis A and typhoid. Altitude awareness is important for highland areas in Yunnan. Consult a travel clinic for personalized advice.

What should I pack for my trip?

Essentials include comfortable walking shoes, layered clothing, a lightweight rain jacket, sun protection, a reusable water bottle, and personal medications. We’ll provide a detailed packing list tailored to your itinerary.

Any cultural tips for first-time visitors to China?
